Do not cause anyone to stumble... (I Corinthians 10:32)
Voices In Praise is dedicated to fostering an environment in which all choir members will receive encouragement and support as we glorify God through music.
No member of Voices In Praise shall cause anyone, including other members of the choir, to stumble in their walk with God.
In support of this working philosophy, choir rules are as follows:
1. Please limit talking during rehearsals.
2. Faithful and prompt attendance is expected at rehearsals, performances and other events. (Members who know that they will be absent are asked to inform the director as far in advance as possible.)
3. Keep shoes on during rehearsals and performances.
4. No gum chewing, nail filing, hair brushing or make-up applying during rehearsals or church!
5. Do not ever behave in a way that is hurtful or disrespectful towards anyone in or associated with the choir. This includes verbal, physical, and emotional harm (e.g. gossip, cursing, hitting, teasing, etc.).
